Following the announcement that from June 2017 the journal will be published in partnership with Open Academia, we have now made the transition to the journal's new home.
Taking more ownership of the journal’s content and associated data will provide more continuity for authors and readers alike, ensuring that the growing body of research and evidence continues to be a valuable resource for ALT Members and the wider community.
We would like to thank everyone for their patience and support throughout what has been a difficult period in the journal’s history.

Following months of uncertainty since its previous publisher, Co-Action, joined Taylor & Francis last autumn, the journal will now re-open for submissions and resume publication as soon as possible.

Research in Learning Technology (RLT) is a peer reviewed, open access journal published by the Association for Learning Technology. RLT aims to raise the profile of research in learning technology, encouraging research that informs good practice and contributes to the development of policy. RLT publishes articles in the following broad areas: technology enhanced learning, online learning, distance learning, mobile learning, flexible learning, wearable technologies, simulation, learning environments, learning spaces, pedagogy, open educational practice and social media.
